A booking is considered confirmed once the required booking information has been provided and Pure Driveway Services has accepted the booking.

No deposit is required unless otherwise agreed.

2. Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel or reschedule their booking without charge provided they give at least 3 days' notice.

Cancellations made less than 3 days before the scheduled service may incur a $20 cancellation fee.

Pure Driveway Services reserves the right to waive this fee where there are reasonable circumstances.

3. Payment

Payment is due after the service has been completed and the customer has had a reasonable opportunity to inspect the work.

Payment can be made by:

  • Cash

  • Bank transfer

  • PayPal

If payment is not made at the time of completion, the outstanding amount must be paid within 14 days.

Pure Driveway Services may send follow-up emails or other reasonable payment reminders for outstanding amounts.

4. Service Standards

Pure Driveway Services will make reasonable efforts to provide a high-quality driveway and exterior cleaning service.

The service aims to remove dirt, grime, moss and other surface contaminants. However, complete removal of every stain, mark or discolouration cannot be guaranteed.

Some stains or discolouration may be permanent or may require specialist treatment outside the services provided by Pure Driveway Services.

Where a reasonable cleaning result cannot be achieved, Pure Driveway Services may offer a reasonable discount depending on the circumstances.

5. Surfaces We May Refuse to Clean

Pure Driveway Services reserves the right to refuse or stop a job where the surface is considered unsuitable or unsafe for pressure cleaning.

This may include:

  • Gravel or loose surfaces

  • Asphalt where pressure cleaning may cause damage

  • Severely cracked or deteriorated concrete

  • Loose or unstable pavers

  • Painted or coated surfaces that may be damaged by pressure

  • Other surfaces that Pure Driveway Services reasonably believes may be damaged by the cleaning process

The decision to refuse a service will be made to protect both the customer's property and Pure Driveway Services.

6. Existing Damage

Customers must inform Pure Driveway Services of any known existing damage or weaknesses to the surface before the service begins.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Cracks

  • Loose concrete

  • Loose pavers

  • Chipped or damaged surfaces

  • Previous repairs

  • Deteriorated or weakened areas

Customers can provide this information through email at puredrivewayservicesnz@gmail.com, Facebook Messenger, or during the booking phone call.

If existing damage was not disclosed before the service and becomes visible or worsens during cleaning, Pure Driveway Services will not be responsible for that pre-existing damage and the agreed service fee will remain payable.

7. Damage Caused by Pure Driveway Services

Pure Driveway Services will take reasonable care to prevent damage to the customer's property.

If Pure Driveway Services is responsible for causing damage to the property during the service, we will work with the customer to resolve the issue fairly. Where appropriate, Pure Driveway Services may cover reasonable replacement or repair costs.

If Pure Driveway Services causes damage to the driveway or surface being cleaned, the service will be provided free of charge.

8. Plants, Gardens and Surrounding Property

Pure Driveway Services will take reasonable precautions to protect surrounding plants, gardens, outdoor areas and other property from water, cleaning products and equipment.

Customers should remove or secure valuable, fragile or easily damaged items from the work area before the service begins.

Where Pure Driveway Services causes damage to plants or property through negligence, Pure Driveway Services will work with the customer to provide a reasonable replacement or resolution.

9. Preparing the Property

Before Pure Driveway Services arrives, customers are responsible for:

  • Removing vehicles from the driveway

  • Removing outdoor furniture and other belongings from the work area

  • Securing fragile or valuable items

  • Informing Pure Driveway Services of any known hazards or damage

  • Ensuring reasonable access to the property

Pure Driveway Services may be unable to complete the service if the work area has not been reasonably prepared.

10. Water and Access

Customers must provide reasonable access to the property and a suitable water supply unless another arrangement has been agreed in advance.

The customer must ensure that Pure Driveway Services can safely access the agreed work area at the scheduled time.

If access cannot be provided, Pure Driveway Services will attempt to contact the customer immediately.

If the customer cannot be contacted or access cannot be provided, the service may be cancelled and the cancellation policy may apply.

11. Additional Work or Charges

The quoted price is based on the information provided by the customer when booking.

If the actual job is significantly larger, more difficult, dirtier, or requires substantially more work than originally described, Pure Driveway Services may discuss an additional charge with the customer before carrying out the additional work.

No significant additional charge will be applied without the customer's agreement.

12. Weather and Unsafe Conditions

Pure Driveway Services may postpone or reschedule a service if weather conditions or other circumstances make the work unsafe or likely to produce an unsatisfactory result.

This may include heavy rain, strong winds, extreme weather or other unsafe conditions.

Where possible, customers will be given up to 1 day's notice of a weather-related cancellation or rescheduling.

Pure Driveway Services will work with the customer to arrange another suitable date.

No cancellation fee will apply when Pure Driveway Services cancels a booking due to weather or unsafe working conditions.

13. Complaints and Service Issues

Customers should contact Pure Driveway Services within 3 days of the service if they believe there is a significant issue with the completed work.

Customers can contact us through:

Pure Driveway Services will consider the issue fairly and may offer a free re-clean, discount or refund, depending on the circumstances.

Any remedy offered will depend on the nature and seriousness of the issue.

14. Refunds

Refunds may be provided where there is a reasonable basis for doing so, including where Pure Driveway Services has failed to provide the agreed service to a reasonable standard and the issue cannot reasonably be resolved through a re-clean or discount.

Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

15. Elderly Customer Discount

Pure Driveway Services offers a discount for customers aged 65 years or older.

To qualify:

  • The customer must be aged 65 or over.

  • The discount may be used alongside other promotions only where Pure Driveway Services has agreed to this.

Pure Driveway Services reserves the right to verify eligibility for the discount.

16. Photography and Advertising

Pure Driveway Services may wish to take before-and-after photographs of completed work for quality records and promotional purposes.

Photos will only be used for advertising, social media or promotional purposes where the customer has given permission.

Customers may withdraw permission for future use of photographs by contacting Pure Driveway Services.

17. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about their property, including the condition of the surface and any known hazards or damage.

Failure to disclose relevant information may affect Pure Driveway Services' ability to safely complete the service and may affect responsibility for damage that was already present.

18. Right to Refuse or Stop Work

Pure Driveway Services reserves the right to refuse, postpone or stop a service where:

  • The work is unsafe

  • The surface is unsuitable

  • The property presents an unreasonable risk of damage

  • The customer has provided materially inaccurate information

  • The working conditions are significantly different from those described during booking

  • Continuing the service could reasonably cause injury or significant property damage

Where possible, Pure Driveway Services will explain the reason for stopping or refusing the work.

19. Agreement to These Terms

By booking a service with Pure Driveway Services, the customer confirms that they have had the opportunity to read these Terms & Conditions and agrees to be bound by them.

The Terms & Conditions will apply to the service unless a different written agreement has been made between Pure Driveway Services and the customer.

Pure Driveway Services reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions where necessary. The version applicable to a booking will be the version in effect when the booking is made.
